Neighborhoods of Worcester


  • Central - This is a nice part of town with lots of parks (Elm Park, University Park) as well as Lincoln Estate (which was where the historic elite lived).
  • Downtown - This is where you'll find more high-rise-style apartment complexes and urban life. Plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment in this area.
  • East Side - This side of Worcester is dominated by Green Hill Park - a beautiful park with ponds, a forest and a golf course. You won't find as many apartments in this section.
  • North Worcester - This is mostly a suburban section of Worcester. You'll find more rentals on the east side of Highway 190.
  • South Worcester - With a concentration of colleges in this area, you'll find rentals more suited to students and slightly lower rental prices.
  • West Side - This is where you'll find Worcester Regional Airport and more single-family homes. Not many rentals out this way.
