Franklin is approximately 40 miles from downtown Boston. It’s southwest of Boston and also somewhat close to Providence, Rhode Island. It’s a quaint suburb of Boston, lush with old growth trees and rich history. The town was incorporated in 1778 and named after Benjamin Franklin. It’s also home to America’s first public library.


Franklin has great schools and a considerable amount of schools for its relatively small population. There’s also Dean College within the city limits.
