Saugus Housing & Apartment Styles

  • Revere Beach - A popular beach for Bostonians. It tends to attract a younger crowd and has nightlife. Not to mention, people love to walk along this beach. It's the first public beach in America.

  • Appleton’s Pulpit - A rock outcropping where Samuel Appleton publicly denounced Sir Edmund Andros (Colonial Governor at the time).
  • Saugus is a word derived from the Naumkeag (Pawtucket) language meaning “outlet”. Saugus was the central location of the Naumkeag in the early 1600s.
  • The oldest barber shop in the U.S. is located in Saugus - George’s Barber Shop.
